Abstract

autonomouscurriculumisanimprovementontheprecedingcurriculum, whichwasput in placetocompensateforlearninglosscausedbythe Covid-19 accident. Via drivingschools, severalschoolswithintheMinistryofEducation, Culture, Research, and Technology havedevelopedanautonomouscurriculum. The purposeofthisresearchistoassessthepreparednessofpublicelementaryschools in Cluster 2, KedungkandangDistrict, Malang City, andtoreporttherestrictionsandsolutionsencounteredduringtheimplementationprocess. This study employs a quantitativeapproachtoquantitativedescriptiveresearch. Data gatheringtechniquesincludeobservation, interviews, data collection, andtoolssuch as surveys. The findingsrevealedthat 92.5% ofCluster 2 PublicElementarySchoolleadersandteachers were wellpreparedtoembracetheintroductionofthe Independent Curriculum. In celebrationoftheadoptionofthe Independent Curriculum, theCluster 2 PublicElementarySchool, KedungkandangDistrict, principalandteachersparticipated in Independent CurriculumtrainingactivitiessponsoredbytheEducation Office underthesupervisionoftheActivistTeacher. They believethatthere are severalchallenges in theimplementationofthe Independent Curriculumforindicationsthathave not beenmet, namely 26.50%. The concernsexpressedbytherespondentscanbeattributedtotheinsufficientqualityoftheteacher's human resources.
