Brain tumor is a significant non-communicable disease and represents one of the various types of cancer affecting people worldwide across all age groups encompassing both adults and children. Although it is considered a rare tumor the mortality of brain tumor is reportedly high. In Indonesia brain tumors are the most common solid tumor of childhood and placed second after Leukaemias as a cause of death among all childhood cancers. The objective of this study is to describe and determine the clinicals and non-clinicals characterictics and the survival outcome of brain tumour patients at Gatot Soebroto Army Central Hospital throughout the year 2018-2022 according to the non-clinicals (socio-demographic) such as age sex ethnicity level of education occupations payment methods and clinicals factor such as tumor types tumor location tumor grades and what treatments did the patients get. This study used a descriptive epidemiology design that uses secondary data from medical records of hospitalized patients with brain tumors. The data for this study were collected from February to April 2023. A total 49 cases were obtained where (51%) occurred in male. The most common type was glioblastoma (18.4%). Most of the patients were highly educated (83.7%) and used BPJS as their main payment methods (95.9%). The survival outcomes of brain tumors are more common in males occurred more at the age of above 18 years old most of them are javaneses and 41 patients found survive in the medical records based on the condition at the time of discharged.
