The Web-Based Pharmaceutical Wholesale Data Entry Information Management System is a pioneering application developed using the Python Django framework 4.1 and MySQL database. This research project adopts the Waterfall model encompassing various stages to address the data management challenges faced by small businesses in Afghanistan including issues related to low literacy rates and high application costs. The study begins with problem formulation identifying the recent struggles of Afghan small business owners with data management and the prevailing reliance on software from neighboring countries. The research emphasizes effective communication and coordination between clients and vendors considering language and cultural differences that impact project success. The primary research purpose is to create an easy-to-use and cost-effective Information Management System (IMS) that eliminates the need for specialized IT personnel and the importation of overseas applications with limited support. The application developed using the Python Django 4.1 framework incorporates user-friendly interfaces enabling non-educated users to navigate the system effortlessly. The research question centers on implementing an information management system for small businesses without incurring exorbitant costs and requiring extensive IT expertise. The Waterfall model guides the systematic development process ensuring each stage is carefully planned and executed. In alignment with the survey findings the web-based system is equipped with features such as inventory management order processing and real-time analytics catering to the preferences of stakeholders. The system prioritizes data security. The user guidelines available in Afghanistan s native languages further enhance accessibility for non-educated users. The application s architecture embraces scalability and adaptability providing transformative solutions to streamline small business operations while minimizing internet costs. By empowering businesses with technology the research contributes to the growth and sustainability of the local economy. The Web-Based Pharmaceutical Wholesale Data Entry Information Management System sets a benchmark for technology-driven efficiency and inclusivity in the pharmaceutical wholesale industry in Afghanistan and beyond. Its comprehensive and accessible approach promises to revolutionize data management practices empowering businesses to embrace technology for their growth and success.
