Budaya literasi belum menjadi proritas utama di kalangan pelajar Indonesia. Minimnya minat masyarakat terhadap literasi salah satunya terjadi di kabupaten Malang. Kehadiran komunitas GPAN Kepanjen sebagai lembaga swadaya masyarakat berkontribusi dalam menyediakan taman baca. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peran pendukung dan penghambat komunitas dalam menumbuhkan minat baca masyarakat yang dianalisis melalui pendekatan struktural fungsional Talcott Parson (AGIL). Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan program dikategorikan menjadi program mingguan bulanan tahunan diantaranya Marafi FAS Sambang panti Seminar kepenulisan buka lapak safari literasi kegiatan lomba membuat kerajinan nonton bareng cooking class. Pendukung program adanya kesamaan minat dibidang literasi dan dukungan komunitas lain. Penghambat program dipengaruhi kurang aktifnya anggota kurangnya dana terkait perizinan serta sarana yang kurang memadai. Kesimpulanya peran komunitas GPAN Kepanjen dianalisis dengan konsep AGIL dari Talcott Parsons melalui empat tahap. Pertama tahap adaptation berangkat dari kurang optimalnya pemanfaatan ruang membaca serta kegiatan produktif komunitas menyediakan bacaan gratis. Strategi dalam meningkatkan minat baca melalui program literasi produktif seperti program mingguan bulanan dan tahunan. Kedua tahap Goal attainment (pencapaian tujuan) komunitas GPAN Kepanjen bertujuan menjadi komunitas yang menyediakan serta mengembangkan perpustakaan diberbagai daerah. Ketiga tahap Integrasi komunitas mengatur hubungan melibatkan masyarakat dan kelompok lain dalam relasi sosialnya. Hubungan tersebut pada pengadaan rumah baca pengadaan buku bacaan serta praktik literasi melalui program. Keempat tahap Latency (pemeliharaan pola) terdapat dalam program yang dijalankan komunitas secara kontinyu serta dalam pola-pola kultural tercermin dalam perekrutan anggota maupun relawanya. Kata Kunci Literasi GPAN Kepanjen Struktural fungsional Talcott Parson (AGIL) Abstract Literacy culture has not yet become a top priority among Indonesian students. The lack of public interest in literacy one of which occurred in Malang district. The presence of the GPAN Kepanjen community as a non-governmental organization contributed to providing a reading garden. The purpose of this study was to determine the roles supporters and obstacles of the community in fostering public interest in reading which was analyzed through the Talcott Parsons structural functional approach (AGIL). This research method is qualitative with descriptive type. Data collection techniques using observation interviews and documentation. The results showed that the programs were categorized into weekly monthly and annual programs including Marafi FAS Sambang orphanages writing seminars opening stalls literacy safaris competition activities making crafts watching together cooking classes. Supporters of the program have common interests in the field of literacy and support from other communities. Obstacles to the program are influenced by the inactivity of members lack of funds related to licensing and inadequate facilities. In conclusion the role of the Kepanjen GPAN community was analyzed using the AGIL concept from Talcott Parsons through four stages. First the adaptation stage departs from the less optimal use of reading space and productive activities the community provides free reading. Strategies to increase interest in reading through productive literacy programs such as weekly monthly and yearly programs. Second the Goal attainment stage of the GPAN Kepanjen community aims to become a community that provides and develops libraries in various regions. Third the community integration stage regulates relationships involving the community and other groups in their social relations. The relationship is in the procurement of reading houses procurement of reading books and literacy practices through the program. Fourth the Latency stage (pattern maintenance) is found in programs that are run continuously by the community and in cultural patterns reflected in the recruitment of members and volunteers.
