Picture-based medium of instruction such as comics is one of the media that can improve the reading comprehension of students of English as a foreign language (EFL). This research aims to describe the students rsquo perspective toward the use of digital comics to improve their reading comprehension of narrative texts. This research applied descriptive quantitative design by using surveys. It was conducted in Public Junior High School (Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri/SMPN) 2 Malang with 69 participants in classes IX G H and I. The instrument of this research is a questionnaire that consists of 14 close-ended questions and 1 open-ended question. The questionnaire is divided into three sections which are interest effectiveness and satisfaction. The results of this study showed that most students feel interested in using digital comics with a 3.20 average score most students agreed that digital comics are effective to improve their reading comprehension with a 3.00 average score and most students feel satisfied using digital comics with a 3.00 average score.
