Sex education is a science that teaches everything related to the reproductive system including growth function and development of the reproductive organs up to mental and social aspects which are very important for adolescents to understand and how adolescents can avoid risky behavior that has the potential to damage their future. The purpose of this research is to find out that the teacher s understanding of adolescent reproductive health and how the teacher conveys sex education to students so that they avoid free sex behavior. The research was conducted at SMA N 1 Sidayu. The research method used qualitative with a phenomenological approach collecting data through interviews and direct observation at SMA N 1 Sidayu. analysis techniques by way of transcription coding and drawing conclusions. The results of this study proves that teachers understand adolescent reproductive health but not all teachers provide sex education specifically as is done by Biology Teachers PJOK Teachers and Informatics Teachers besides that the teacher rsquo s efforts in providing sex education are effective in preventing free sex for teenagers.
