Abstract

Project Based Learning (PjBL) is an educational approach in which students learn and develop skills through authentic and adequate projects. This approach can be implemented for English writing purpose and integrated with digital media. In this research the digital media that was applied was Padlet. This study aims to investigate whether Padlet-assisted Project-Based Learning could enhance eleventh-grade students rsquo writing skill for analytical exposition text. Quasi-Experimental research with non-randomized control group pretest-posttest design is selected as the research design for the study. The research was conducted at one of Public Senior High School in Malang with the total 56 eleventh-grade students. The data is collected using two writing tests that have been checked its validity and reliability using inter-rater reliability. Then it is analyzed using SPSS 25 and worked with four procedures those are (1) descriptive analysis test (2) homogeneity test (3) normality test and (4) hypothesis test. The finding of this research is that the implementation of Padlet-assisted Project Based Learning has a tendency to affect the learning outcomes of the students in writing analytical exposition text.
