RINGKASAN Wardhani Septiria L. 2017. Pengaruh Penambahan Serbuk Cangkang Telur Ayam Terhadap Pertumbuhan Tanaman Sirih Hijau (Piper betle L.). Skripsi Jurusan Biologi Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Negeri Malang. Pembimbing (I) Ir. Nugrahaningsih M.P (II) Drs. I Wayan Sumberartha M.Sc. Kata Kunci serbuk cangkang telur ayam pertumbuhan tanaman sirih hijau (Piper betle L.). Tanaman sirih (Piper betle L.) merupakan tanaman budidaya yang bermanfaat sebagai obat kosmetik pasta gigi dan sabun. Tanaman sirih merupakan tanaman yang membutuhkan unsur hara yang tercukupi untuk menghasilkan produksi yang maksimal. Salah satu unsur hara yang dibutuhkan yaitu kalsium. Kalsium dibutuhkan untuk menetralkan pH media tanam sehingga unsur hara tersedia untuk pertumbuhan organ vegetatifnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh serbuk cangkang telur ayam terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman sirih (Piper betle L). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 6 taraf perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisa variansi (ANAVA) tunggal setelah itu dilanjutkan Uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa serbuk cangkang telur berpengaruh sangat signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman sirih (Piper betle L.). Konsentrasi 25 gram menunjukkan pengaruh baik terhadap panjang batang. Konsentrasi 25 gram menunjukkan pengaruh baik terhadap jumlah daun. Konsentrasi 15 gram menunjukkan pengaruh baik terhadap luas daun tanaman sirih (Piper betle L.). SUMMARY Wardhani Septiria L. 2017. Betel (PiperbetleL.)is a cultivation plant which is beneficial because it can be used as medicine cosmetics toothpaste and soap. Betel is a plant that needs sufficient nutrients in order to have maximum production. One of the nutrients which are needed is calcium. Calcium is required for neutralizing pH in soil so that nutrients will be provided for the growth of its vegetative organs. The aim of this study is to discover the effects of chicken s eggshell powder on the growth of betel (Piper betle L.). This study uses Randomized Block Design (RAK) method which consists of six treatments and 4 repetition. Meanwhile the technique that is used for analyzing the data is One-way ANNOVA which is then proceeded with Duncan Test. The result of this study shows that chicken s eggshell powder has a significant effect on the growth of betel (PiperbetleL.). Adding 25 gram concentration of eggshell powder shows a significant effect on the length of betel stems. Adding 25 gram concentration of eggshell powder shows a significant effect on the quantity of betel leaves. Adding 15 gram concentration of eggshell powder shows a significant effect on the width of betel leaves.
