Abstract

Islamic banking is one of the concepts of banking business that applies Islamic sharia law. This study was prepared with the aim of knowing how the role of Islamic banking financial indicators on the performance of Islamic banks in Indonesia. The data used in this study is Islamic Banking Statistics from OJK since 2017 to 2021. The data processing method uses VECM modeling. The results of this study indicate that the independent variables consisting of BOPO CAR FDR MFP NPF and STM have an effect in the long term on the dependent variable namely the ROA variable. However in the short term the CAR variable does not show a significant effect. Partially in VECM modeling the BOPO MFP and STM variables have a significant positive effect in the long and short term. On the other hand the FDR and NPF variables have a significant negative effect in the short and long term. The CAR variable only has a significant negative effect in the long term. ROA responses to shocks that occur in each variable vary and have a significant effect on the ROA value itself.
