Job satisfaction is influenced by the quality of work life and affects employee performance. This study aims to determine the effect of quality of work life on employee performance through job satisfaction. This research was conducted using SPSS 26.0 analysis tool using a quantitative method. The samples in this study were 170 respondents who are employees of PT. Mertex production department. The source of the data obtained is primary data namely a closed questionnaire. Questionnaires were distributed via Google Forms which were analyzed using t-test Sobel test and path analysis. The results proved that the quality of work life had a significant positive effect on job satisfaction job satisfaction had a significant positive effect on employee performance and job satisfaction was able to mediate the quality of work life on employee performance. There is an indirect effect from (quality of work life on employee performance through job satisfaction) which is lower than the direct effect.
