The Turner Diaries is a novel written by William Luther Pierce using pseudonym Andrew MacDonald. The novel is infamous for its racism and become one of the most influential literary works that contributes to white nationalist propaganda since the fall of Nazi Germany. The present study aims to conduct corpus based discourse analysis on The Turner Diaries in order to investigate ldquo how the novel uses racial depictions to influence reader rsquo s mind rdquo . Corpus based discourse analysis are chosen as the most suitable method due to its ability to conduct discourse analysis on large data. The results show that The Turner Diaries utilize racial depictions to demonize Black race and establish division in White race in order to persuade the reader towards its purposes.
