This study aims to analyze the dominant types of expressive speech act and way of performing expressive speech act that used in Tati rsquo s video on her YouTube channel. The data sources for this study was taken from ldquo 10 DRUGSTORE BRANDS Best amp Worst Products Revealed rdquo video on Tati rsquo s YouTube channel. Checklist at Tati rsquo s YouTube channel proves that her channel has been verified by YouTube. Furthermore the research method used is descriptive qualitative method since the results of this study concerned to non-numerical data. After analyzing data from nine types of expressive speech act (i e. apologizing thanking congratulating condoling deploring lamenting welcoming forgiving boasting) the results come up that ldquo 10 DRUGSTORE BRANDS Best amp Worst Products Revealed rdquo video on Tati rsquo s YouTube channel containing three dominant types of expressive speech act which categorized as boasting lamenting and welcoming. After that from four types of performing expressive speech acts (i e. direct literal speech acts direct non literal speech acts indirect literal speech acts and indirect non literal speech acts) the results come up that the expressive speech acts delivered by direct literal speech act.
