As a multilingual speaker who speaks different languages Bayu Skak is also an Indonesian Youtuber known for his heavy Javanese use in his videos. Through his YouTube channel talks using more than languages. Given the fact that he speaks not only Javanese but also English and Indonesian he regularly mixes between the languages. Departing from this unique linguistic feature this paper is set out to investigate code-mixing practices and how such practices reflect the interplay of his language choice and identity construction. We employ a qualitative descriptive approach with the data being collected from five videos he uploaded on his YouTube channel. The results showed that he mixed the different codes on different occasions and places to highlight the message he wanted to deliver. More importantly his code-mixing practices showed how constructed his ethnic identity as a Javanese and young speaker.
