Abstract

During Early COVID-19 Pandemic in mid-March 2020 various online activities have sprung up. From offline to online this requires adjustment. Various kinds of applications are used in various kinds of activities to support things to keep running as normal. Especially in the world of education all activities that are originally offline face-to-face in class must also adjust to online learning. Many schools and educational institutions are closed to stop the spread of COVID-19 and implement online learning. The purpose of this study is to explain the formation of Global English Teachers which started from a discussion about the online learning process during the pandemic. This research design is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was carried out through observation interviews and documentation. This group is on WhatsApp and has weekly discussions by zoom. Therefore from there comes up the various perceptions and attitudes because they consist of different countries and cultures. The results of this study reveal that there are varying perceptions and attitudes during the discussion. After the researcher conducts the research and finds the results the researcher makes conclusions regarding the research questions contained in the research questions. Conclusions obtained through real phenomena such as what researcher do while searching for and obtaining this data are all positive things. Perceptions and attitudes are all positive because everyone realizes that there are many differences that can be fixed with their knowledge and experience. Besides that mutual respect reminding and helping each other on implementing online learning between group members offer peace and friendship.
