This research focused on finding out how using Padlet application can improve the eleventh grade students rsquo ability in writing a narrative text. I selected this application to make the students interested in learning English. In this study I used Classroom Action Research (CAR) as the research design. The subjects of this study were the eleventh grade students of Ilmu Budaya dan Bahasa 2020/2021 academic year at MAN 1 Pasuruan consisting of 40 students. This study was conducted in one cycle consisting of 4 meetings. I assessed and analyzed the results of the students rsquo writing test by comparing with the criteria of success. The implementation was considered to be successful when 80% or 32 out of 40 students obtain improvement in their writing narrative essay score compared with the standard score of each aspect in the scoring rubric. As a result I found that there was an improvement from the minimum standard of mastery criteria to the last meeting which was the final test. The mean score in the final test was 82.3. It was categorized good. There were 36 (90%) students who could achieve the passing grade so the process of classroom action research could be stopped. Furthermore some of the students gave positive responses toward the use of the comic strips. Based on the result of this study it can be concluded that the use Padlet application can improve the eleventh grade students rsquo ability in writing narrative text. I also would like to propose some suggestions in order to improve teaching learning process especially about teaching learning narrative text by using Padlet in the future. The future researchers are expected to explore the use of Padlet to other genre strategy and skills such as listening speaking or reading.
