Learning vocabulary is an important part of learning English especially when students learn about descriptive text students must be able to describe something with the proper vocabulary. Students struggle to describe anything because they are unsure of the vocabulary to employ. Therefore innovative learning media are needed to help them in learning. One of the media that can be used is Flashcard game. This study aims to find out the improvement of students rsquo vocabulary in descriptive text using flashcard game. The researcher conducted classroom action research using vocabulary tests and questionnaires as the instruments. This research was conducted in two cycles to 34 seventh-grade students in MTsN 2 Malang. The results showed that there was an improvement in the students scores between the two cycles. Moreover the questionnaire shows the students rsquo give a good response regarding the use of Flashcard Game media to enrich students rsquo vocabulary in descriptive text. It can be concluded that the Flashcard Game media can help the students in enriching their vocabulary especially in descriptive text.
