Kata Kunci model STAD prestasi belajar Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) merupakan salah satu bentuk model pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui proses peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa jika diterapkan model pembelajaran STAD pada materi pesawat sederhana. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian kualitatif dan jenis penelitiannya Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah soal-soal tes lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa lembar wawancara angket respon siswa dan catatan lapangan. Data penelitian berupa nilai afektif (sikap) siswa nilai kognitif siswa (berupa pretest dan nilai post-test) dan nilai psikomotorik siswa (keterampilan) hasil observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa hasil wawancara observer catatan lapangan observer dan respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran. Untuk menjaga keabsahan data dilakukan kegiatan triangulasi dan pemeriksaan teman sejawat. Kegiatan analisis data ada 3 tahap yaitu mencari kualitas pembelajaran peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa dan respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran Berdasarkan hasil analisis data tersebut diperoleh kesimpulan hasil penelitian sebagai berikut. Pertama kualitas pembelajaran jika menggunakan model pembelajaran STAD meningkat dari Siklus I dan II dan dapat dilihat dari hasil observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa serta aktivitas siswa terhadap model pembelajaran. Kedua peningkatan prestasi belajar dari siklus I dan II sudah tampak ini dibuktikan dari penilaian yang meliputi 3 ranah yaitu afektif kognitif dan psikomotorik yang meningkan dari setiap pertemuan. Ketiga respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran ini adalah sangat bai hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil angket siswa yang menunjukkan bahwa siswa merasa senang tidak bosan dalam mengikuti pembelajaran mampu berinteraksi dengan teman sekelompoknya dan mampu menyalurkan ide atau gagasannya serta aktif bertanya jika ada yang belum dimengerti. This research was done by purpose to know process of student learning was enhance if implemented STAD learning model on simple plane subject. This research is use design of qualitative research and the type of research is Research Class Action. An instrument that used to collect data is test question sheet activity of teacher and students sheet interview the survey of students response and field notes. Research data in form of value of Affective (Attitude) of student value of cognitive student (knowledge) such pre test and post test and psychomotorik of students (skill) observation of teacher and students activity interview field notes and students respons against learning models. To keep validity of data is using triangulation and inspection friend. Analytical work data using 3 steps looking for quality of learning enhancing of learning achievement of student and students respons against learning models. Based on analytical result this obtained conclusion of the research result as follows. First quality of learning use the model of learning STAD was enhanced from cycles I and II and can be seen from the observation the activity of teachers and students as well as the activity of students learning against a model. Second improve achievement learn from the cycle I and II has looked this is proven of judgment which includes 3 domain namely affective cognitive and psychomotor that enhance of each meeting .Third response against model students learning this is very good this is proven results from the students poll showing that students feel happy not bored in following learning capable of interacting with group friends and capable of distributing idea or initiative as well as active ask if someone has not understand .
