Abstract

The Effectiveness of the Application of Problem Posing Educational Type to the Asking Ability and the Study Achievement of Physics in Main Discussion Temperature and Heat to the Student of SMA Negeri 1 Pamekasan class X. minithesis physics department the faculty of physics FMIPA Malang State University. Advisors (I) Drs. Yudyanto M.Si (II) Dr. Soetopo M.Si Keywords problem posing the ability of asking and study achievement. This research was held to acknowledge wich one of the educational type problem posing or conventional model that can be better the student ability in asking questions and study achievement in learning physics for the student of SMA Negeri 1 Pamekasan class X. This research was held because during the learning process the student class X SMA Negeri 1 Pamekasan did not have proactive behavior in asking questions and they have lack of focus during attend the physics. In line with that problem this research was held entitled The Effectiveness of the Applying Problem Posing Educational Type to the Asking Question Ability and the Studying Physics Achievement in Main Discussion Temperature and Heat the Student of SMA Negeri 1 Pamekasan Class X . This research applied the quantitative approach and it includes the appearance experiment research. The sample of this was two classes that were chosen randomly X-D as the class that taught using the conventional education type. This research consists of three data they are the data of the student asking ability the first ability of the student (pretest score) and the last data is the data of the studying physics achievement (posttest score). In the next step those three data was analyzed by using two sample single t test (independent-sample t-test). The result of this research showed that the average score of the student asking ability in the class X-D is higher than the student class X-C class X-D 82 02 meanwhile class X-C 75 80. The result of the analyzing T test showed the score ) 0.007 taller than 0.05. The average score of the study achievement class X-D is higher than class X-C X-D is 77.56 meanwhile X-C 72.13. The result of T test analyzing showed the score ) 0 032 taller than 0.05. Based on the result of those data it can be conclude that the learning process by using problem posing educational type can be better the ability of the asking question and the achievement in studying physics to the student class X SMA Negeri 1 Pamekasan.
