RINGKASAN Waluyo Riza Fitriyani. 2018. Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran FUN MATH Berbasis Android pada Materi Teorema Pythagoras untuk Siswa Kelas VIII. Skripsi Jurusan Matematika Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Negeri Malang. Pembimbing Syaiful Hamzah Nasution S.Si S.Pd M.Pd. Kata Kunci Android media pembelajaran Teorema Pythagoras Matematika merupakan mata pelajaran yang diajarkan pada setiap jenjang pendidikan. Berdasarkan wawancara kepada pendidik dan hasil pretest ditemukan masalah bahwa siswa mengalami kesulitan pada materi Teorema Pythagoras. Guru dalam penyampaian materi menggunakan metode ceramah serta buku teks Kurikulum 2013 yang dirasa siswa masih sulit mengungkapkan gagasan dari materi Teorema Pythagoras. Guru juga menggunakan Power Point saat pembelajaran namun hanya sebatas menyampaian kompetensi inti kompetensi dasar apersepsi serta motivasi pada awal pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penyebaran angket diketahui bahwa mayoritas siswa memiliki smartphone berbasis Android. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis Android pada materi Teorema Pythagoras untuk siswa Kelas VIII yang valid praktis serta efektif. Model yang digunakan dalam pengembangan adalah model Plomp. Pengembangan ini terdapat tiga langkah penelitian yaitu (1) preliminary research (penelitian awal) (2) prototype phase (fase prototype) dan (3) assessment phase (fase penilaian). Produk yang telah dikembangkan divalidasi ke validator ahli media dan validator ahli materi serta guru. Uji kepraktisan dilakukan dengan melihat angket respon siswa. Sedangkan uji keefektifan dilakukan dengan melihat perolehan nilai siswa pada evaluasi yang diperoleh siswa setelah menggunakan media. Data kualitatif berupa saran/komentar yang dijadikan bahan pertimbangan dan revisi demi penyempurnaan produk yang dikembangkan. SUMMARY Waluyo Riza Fitriyani. 2018. Based on the interview and preliminary test it was found that the students had difficulty in understanding the Pythagoras Theorem. The teacher still also applied the teacher-centered approach. Meanwhile the 2013 Curriculum coursebook still could not appealed the concept of Pythagoras Theorem. The teacher used the Power Point Presentation merely to deliver the core competencies basic competencies apperception and motivation in the beginning of the lesson. In addition based on the questionnaires distributed the majority of the students had Android smartphone. This research is aimed to develop the valid effective and practical Android-based instructional media on Pythagoras Theorem for VIII Graders. Plomp model was used in developing this instructional media. There were three steps in conducting this research they were (1) preliminary research (2) prototype phase and (3) assessment phase. After the developing the product it would be validated by the materials and media validity experts and also teachers. The practical test was conducted by seeing the students response questionnaires. Meanwhile the effectiveness test was done by evaluating the students score after the implementation of the media. The qualitative data could be in a form of suggestions and comments that would be used as the consideration and the revision for the product improvement.
