Abstract
Along with the times, education in Indonesia must also follow its development. Case-Based Learning is one of the choices of educators to improve student competence in the learning process. Case-Based Learning is often defined as a teaching method that requires students to actively participate in real or hypothetical problem situations, reflecting the kinds of experiences naturally encountered in the discipline under study (Ertmer & Russell, 1995). This learning can be done using digital technology that supports the learning process. Tandem is one of the social medien that connects people from various countries to be able to communicate and learn different languages from each other. Through this application, students can improve their speaking skills by communicating with native speakers virtually.
