Sarjono M.Sn (II) Joko Samodra S.kom M.T Kata Kunci user interface ui user experience ux desain web ucd Perkembangan teknologi dewasa ini semakin mempengaruhi segala aktivitas manusia untuk menggunakan media digital website adalah contoh bentuk media digital yang kini sudah banyak digunakan salah satunya oleh komunitas startup Kota Malang yaitu Komunitas Stasion untuk keperluan layanan dan penyebaran informasi. Dalam proses interaksi dengan website desain antarmuka pengguna (User Interface) merupakan salah satu aspek penting yang dapat mempengaruhi kenyamanan pengguna (User Experience) adapun User Experience menjadi salah satu penentu sejauh mana website bekerja dengan baik atau tidak. Berdasarkan penyebaran kuesioner online mengenai UI website Stasion sebelumnya didapatkan hasil bahwa terdapat beberapa kelemahan user interface pada website milik Stasion yang mengakibatkan pengguna bingung ketika mengoperasikan website tersebut. Hal ini harus segera diatasi dengan melakukan redesain untuk memperbaiki permasalahan user interface sehingga dapat meningkatkan user experience website Stasion. Data pengembangan diperoleh dari kajian lapangan yaitu observasi dan wawancara terhadap pihak komunitas Stasion di Jl. Basuki Rachmad 7-9. Proses pengembangan media dilakukan menggunakan metode User Centered Design (UCD) yaitu metode yang menempatkan pengguna sebagai pusat dari proses pengembangan sehingga media yang dihasilkan benar-benar berdasarkan kebutuhan pengguna. Berdasarkan data permasalahan dan metode yang telah diterapkan redesain ini menghasilkan karya berupa user interface website yang baru karya ini kemudian diujicobakan menggunakan sampel yang sama. Dua kegiatan ini menghasilkan jawaban bahwa user interface design memang menjadi kunci pertama yang dapat mempengaruhi user experience ketika mengoperasikan sebuah website. Website is an example of digital media that has a lot of users. One of them is startup community in Malang named stasion who use the website for service and information purposes. In the interaction process with the website user interface is one of important aspects that can influence the user experience. However user experience is one of the tools to determine whether the website works well or not. Based on the result of online questionnaire about UI stasion website there are some weakness of user interface in the stasion website which makes the user get confused in operating the website. The problem should be solved by doing redesign to improve user experience of stasion website. The data development is obtained by doing observation and interview to stasion website at Jl. Basuki Rachmad 7-9 Malang. The process of media development uses User Centered Design (UCD) method. It is the method that place the user as center of development thus the media which is produced can be suitable with the users need. Based on the data the problem and the method which are applied redesign can produce a new user interface website which will be tested using the same sample. Those two activities generate answer that user interface design is the first key that can influence user experience while operating a website.
