Kata Kunci berpikir historis pembelajaran sejarah Sejarah Indonesia. Salah satu tujuan dari pembelajaran sejarah adalah mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir historis siswa. Kemampuan tersebut perlu dimiliki siswa agar siswa dapat memahami masa lalu dengan baik. Kurikulum pembelajaran Sejarah Indonesia mengharapkan siswa mampu menerapkan cara berpikir historis saat mempelajari suatu peristiwa. Begitu pula dengan proses pembelajaran Sejarah Indonesia di kelas XI SMAN 1 Malang yang seharusnya dapat mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir historis siswa. Oleh sebab itu perlu diteliti lebih lanjut bagaimana kemampuan berpikir historis siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Malang. Panduan yang digunakan untuk melihat kemampuan berpikir historis siswa adalah enam komponen yang dirumuskan oleh Peter Seixas dan Tom Morton peneliti yang mengaji seputar berpikir historis. Fokus dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua hal. Pertama memaparkan proses pembelajaran Sejarah Indonesia di kelas XI SMAN 1 Malang. Kedua mengungkapkan kemampuan berpikir historis siswa di sana. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk menggali fokus masalah adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru matapelajaran Sejarah Indonesia kelas XI serta siswa di kelas XI IB XI IIS dan XI MIPA 8. Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yang dibutuhkan adalah wawancara observasi dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dan dicek keabsahannya. Melalui data-data yang berhasil dikumpulkan diketahui bahwa proses pembelajaran Sejarah Indonesia di kelas XI SMAN 1 Malang meliputi perencanaan pelaksanaan serta evaluasi. Perencanaan pembelajaran dilakukan dengan penyusunan Rencana Program Pembelajaran (RPP) dan Unit Kegiatan Belajar Mandiri (UKBM). Pelaksanaan pembelajaran dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan yakni pembukaan kegiatan inti dan penutup. Unsur-unsur pembelajaran seperti model metode media dan sumber pembelajaran turut digunakan. Kegiatan evaluasi juga sudah diselenggarakan dengan berbagai metode. Selama proses pembelajaran siswa sudah menerapkan lima komponen berpikir historis. Komponen-komponen yang dimiliki siswa yakni kebermaknaan sejarah keberlanjutan dan perubahan sebab akibat perspektif sejarah serta dimensi etis. Satu komponen yang belum dimiliki siswa yaitu penggunaan sumber primer. Siswa lebih suka mencari informasi terutama melalui internet. Buku paket dan buku sejarah juga digunakan siswa untuk memperoleh informasi. Akan tetapi siswa belum mengkritisi sumber yang digunakan untuk memeroleh informasi selama proses pembelajaran. Keywords historical thinking historical learning Indonesian history. One of the goals of historical learning is the developing student s historical thinking ability. This ability need to be owned by students so they can understand the past well. The Indonesian History learning curriculum expects students to be able to apply historical thinking when studying an event. Likewise the learning process of Indonesian History in 11th grade at SMAN 1 Malang should be able to develop student s historical thinking ability. Therefore it needs further reserach about how the historical thinking ability of students in 11th grade SMAN 1 Malang. The guide used to look at student s historical thinking ability are the six components formulated by Peter Seixas and Tom Morton researchers who focus on historical thinking. The focus in this research consists of two things. First explained the learning process of Indonesian History at 11th grade SMAN 1 Malang. Second showed the student s historical thinking ability there. The research method used to explore problem focus is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this research were Indonesian History teacher and students in class of XI IB XI IIS and XI MIPA 8. The techniques used to collect the data needed were interviews observations and documentation. The collected data then analyzed and checked for validity. Through the data that have been collected it is known that the learning process of Indonesian History in 11th grade SMAN 1 Malang includes planning implementation and evaluation. Learning planning is done with the arranging of Rencana Program Pembelajaran (RPP) and Unit Kegiatan Belajar Mandiri (UKBM). The implementation of learning is held in several stages namely opening core activities and closing. Learning elements such as models methods media and learning resources are also used. Evaluation activity is also conducted with various methods. During the learning process students have implemented five components of historical thinking. The components that have owned by students are establish historical significance identify change and continuity analyze cause and consequence take historical perspective and understand ethical dimensions. One component that students do not yet have is the use of primary sources as evidence. Students prefer to look for information especially through the internet. Textbooks and history books are also used by students to obtain information. However students have not criticized the sources used to obtain infromation during the learning process.
