Desa Molyoharjo yang terkenal sebagai setral industri dan seni patung dan ukir di Jepara memiliki banyak toko yang berjajar disepanjang jalan. Toko-toko tersebut menjual berbagai macam bentuk prabotan dari klasik hingga modern hingga hiasan-hiasan berupa kerajinan patung yang semua berasal dari kayu. Hiasan-hiasan patung yang berasal dari kayu memiliki berbagai macam bentuk flora fauna hingga figuratif. Dilihat dari bentuknya perkembangan bentuk kerajinan patung sebagai hiasan telah banyak berubah dibandingkan pada masa yang lalu. Perubahan yang terjadi dapat dilihat dari bentuk yang saat ini. Penelitian analisis visualisasi ini diperlukan untuk menganalisis bentuk kerajinan patung serta untuk mengetahui proses pembuatannya yang ada di desa Mulyoharjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan kajian formalistik karena pengamatan yang dilakukan akan berfokus pada bentuk kerajinan patungnya saja tanpa melihat label yang ada pada karya. Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk kerajinan patung dari limbah kayu serta mengetahui proses pembuatan kerajinan patung limbah kayu tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan dengan cara datang ke tempat penelitian dan mengumpulkan data mengenai bentuk-bentuk yang ada disana kemudian dilakukan analisis visualinya dan mencari data mengenai proses pembuatannya. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bentuk-bentuk kerajinan kayu yang ada di Mulyoharjo Jepara. Bentuk kerajinan patung yang ditemukan adalah bentuk flauna seperti naga kuda kijang dan bentuk figuratif berupa dewa dan dewi. Dari data yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa transformasi bentuk kerajinan yang terjadi di Mulyoharjo kebanyakan berbentuk fuguratif mulai dari bentuk dewa cina sampai kegiatan sehari-hari. Selain itu ditemukan juga proses-proses dalam pembuatan kerajinan patung kayu mulai dari bongkahan limbah kayu sampai menjadi kerajinan kayu yang diminati pembeli. ABSTRACT Hidayah Sakinatul. 2017. Molyoharjo which is famous as the industrial of sculpture in Jepara has many shops lined on the streets. The shops sell variety of forms of furniture from classic to modern even the ornaments of sculptures that all made from the wood. Ornaments of wooden statues have a variety of forms such as flora fauna to figurative. By seeing from the shape the development of sculpture as decoration has changed much compared to the past. Changes that occur can be seen from the existing form at this time. This visualization analysis research is needed to analyze the shape of sculpture of craft that exist and to know the process of making that sclupture of craft in Mulyoharjo village. This study used a model of formalistic studies because observations made will focus only on the form of sculpture without seeing the labels on that. The purpose of this study is to describe the forms of sculpture from wood waste and to know the the process of making from the shape of the wood waste sculpture. Research is done by collecting data about the forms that exist there then done the visual analysis and looking data for the process of making. The results of the research show the forms of wood craft in Mulyoharjo Jepara. The shape of sculptures found are fauna such as dragons horses antelope And the figurative form of Gods. From the data obtained can be concluded that the transformation of craft that occurred in Mulyoharjo mostly have figurative shape start from shape of the Chinese god up to the daily activities. In addittion there are also processes in the manufacture of wooden sculpture raging from chunks of wood waste into sculpture that interest buyer.
