Abstract

Putri Nickend Pujiastuti Suparta. 2014. The Use of Wasserkarten Media in Adjektiv- deklination on lesson in learning German language class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Kepanjen. Thesis Department of German Literature Faculty of Letter State University of Malang. Advisor (I) Dudy Syafruddin S.S MA ( II ) M. Kharis S.Pd M. Hum . Keywords Learning Media Wasserkarten Adjektivdeklination This study aims to describe the use and the results of Wasserkarten in teaching Adjektivdeklination. This study used descriptive qualitative design. The Sources of data in this study were 31 students of class XI grade IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Kepanjen year 2013/2014. The instruments were writing test observation and questionnaires. The data were obtained from the data of writting test results observations and the results of students questionnaire. The results of study showed that the use of Wasserkarten media can help students to learn matter of Adjektivdeklination. Most of the students can understand the Adjektivdeklination very well. This is showed by analysis of the writting test results that 87 % of students got scores above 76 or above minimum standard of passing grade criteria. And the class average score got 85 point. The result of obsever s answer showed that all students s activities include the beginning until the closing during the learning process has done well. From this study it can be summarized that the use of Wasserkarten medium has benefit to students in order to reach the learning purpose namely (1) to help students understand the Adjektivdeklination (2) to motivate and make students more active (3) to support the learning process. So the Wasserkarten medium can be used specially for Adjektivdeklination learning.
