Ramli M.A (2) Dr. Blasius Boli Lasan M.Pd Kata Kunci konseling ringkas berfokus solusi pengendalian diri siswa Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis Efektifitas Konseling Ringkas Berfokus Solusi Untuk Meningkatkan Pengendalian Diri Siswa Kelas X Perhotelan Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan pra-eksperimen dan menggunakan one group pre-test post-test design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 30 siswa kelas X SMKN 3 Kota Malang. Adapun prosedur pengambilan subjek penelitian menggunakan purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 30 siswa kelas XA. Namun hanya 10 orang siswa yang dikategorikan memiliki perilaku kurang mampu mengendalikan diri kemudian peneliti mengambil 10 subjek yang terdiri 7 siswa katagori rendah dan 3 siswa kategori sangat rendah itulah yang akan diberikan layanan berupa Konseling Ringkas Berfokus Solusi. Adapun variable yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini variable bebas (independen variable). Pengertian dari variable bebas menurut Sugiyono (2014 39) merupakan variable yang mempengaruhi atau yang menjadi sebab perubahannya atau timbulnya variable dependen (terikat). Untuk Uji validitas dan reliabilitas berupa uji korelasi atas data kuisioner dalam penelitian ini dengan metode Alpha Cronbach menggunakan soft ware SPSS 17.0 for Windows dengan metode one shoot seperti dianjurkan Santoso (2000 269) bahwa terdapat dua metode uji validitas yakni repead measure dan metode one shoot dimana alpha cronbach menggunakan metode one shoot dengan metode bela item.Untuk menguji realiabilitas instrumen ini digunakan Alpha Cronbach. Apabila nilai Alpha lebih kecil dari 0 5 maka dinyatakan tidak reliabel dan sebaliknya dinyatakan reliabel apabila Apabila nilai Alpha lebih besar dari 0 5. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode statistik nonparametrik dengan rumus wilcoxon matchnpairs test. Uji wilcoxon pairs test digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis dua sampel berkolerasi bila datanya berbentuk ordinal (berjenjang) dan jumlah datanya sedikit sehingga diasumsikan distribusi data tidak normal (Sugiyono 2009a 134). Selain itu uji wilcoxon tidak menerapkan syarat-syarat mengenai parameter-parameter populasi yang merupakan sampel induk penelitian. Uji wilcoxon juga tidak dilandasi persyaratandata harus berdistribusi normal. Penggunaan uji wilcoxon pada penelitian kali ini tidak menggunakan rumus tetapi menggunakan tabel penolong uji wilcoxon dikarenakan subjek penelitian berjumlah 10 atau kurang dari 25 sehingga distribusi data tidak normal (Sugiyono 2009a 135). Taraf signifikansi yang digunakan yaitu sebesar 5 % dengan dengan ketentuan Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tentang upaya meningkatkan pengendalian diri yang dimiliki oleh konseli melalui layanan bimbingan Konseling Ringkas Berfokus Solusi di SMKN 3 Kota Malang secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa layanan bimbingan Konseling Ringkas Berfokus Solusi efektif sebagai pendekatan untuk meningkatkan pengendalian diri yang dimiliki oleh konseli yang ada di SMKN 3 Malang. Keywords concise counseling focused solutions student self-control This study aims to find out and analyze the Effectiveness of Solution Focused Concise Counseling to Improve Self Control of Class X Hospitality Students in Malang City. This study uses a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental approach and using one group pre-test post-test design. The subjects of this study were 30 students of class X of SMK 3 Malang. The procedure for taking research subjects using purposive sampling. The research subjects were 30 students of class XA. However only 10 students were categorized as having behavior unable to control themselves then the researcher took 10 subjects consisting of 7 low category students and 3 very low category students who will be given the service in the form of Concise Counseling Concentrated Solutions. The variables used in this study are independent variables (independent variables). Understanding of the free variable according to Sugiyono (2014 39) is a variable that influences or which causes change or the emergence of a dependent variable (bound). To test the validity and reliability in the form of a correlation test on questionnaire data in this study with Alpha Cronbach method using SPSS 17.0 for Windows soft ware with one shoot method as suggested by Santoso (2000 269) that there are two validity test methods namely repead measure and one method shoot where Cronbach alpha uses the one shoot method with the item defense method. To test the reliability of this instrument Cronbach Alpha is used. If the Alpha value is smaller than 0.5 then it is declared not reliable and vice versa declared reliable if the Alpha value is greater than 0.5. The data analysis method used in this study is a nonparametric statistical method with the formula Wilcoxon Matchpairs test. The Wilcoxon pairs test is used to test the hypothesis that two samples are correlated if the data is in the form of ordinal (tiered) and the amount of data is small so it is assumed that the data distribution is not normal (Sugiyono 2009a 134). In addition the Wilcoxon test does not apply conditions regarding population parameters which are the main sample of the study. Wilcoxon tests are also not based on conditions and the data must be normally distributed. The use of the Wilcoxon test in this study did not use the formula but used the Wilcoxon test helper table because the research subjects numbered 10 or less than 25 so that the data distribution was not normal (Sugiyono 2009a 135). The significance level used is 5% with the following provisions Based on the results of research on efforts to improve self-control possessed by counselees through Concise Solution Counseling Concise counseling services in State Vocational High School 3 Malang City in general it can be concluded that the Effective Solution Counseling Concise Counseling service is an approach to improve self-control possessed by counselees in Vocational High School 3 Malang.
