M. 2019.Peningkatan Pembelajaran Kemampuan Membaca Pemahaman dan Menulis Menggunakan Model Coperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) Dipada Takingstick Pada Muatan Bahasa Indonesia Siswa Kelas IV SDN Ajung 01 Jember. (II) Prof. Dr. Mohammad Zainuddin Kata kunci Hasil belajar Model CIRC Talkingstick Hasil observasi pada siswa kelas IV SDN Ajung 01 Jember menunjukkan bahwa (1) kegiatan pembelajaran siswa masih terlihat seperti pembelajaran konvensional (2) kemampuan siswa dalam membaca pemahaman masih kurang apabila tidak membaca teks panjang secara berulang (3) kemampuan siswa masih kurang pada saat membuat cerita kembali melalui kegiatan menulis setelah melakukan kegiatan membaca dan (4) nilai yang diperoleh siswa masih rendahterlihat sebanyak 22 siswa yang tidak tuntas atau sebesar 53 38%. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui proses pembelajaran membaca pemahaman dan menulis menggunakan model CIRC dipadu talkingstick siswa Kelas IV SDN Ajung 01 Jember (2) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahamanmenggunakan model CIRC dipadu talkingstick siswa kelas IV SDN Ajung 01 Jember dan (3) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulismenggunakan model CIRC dipadutalkingstick siswa kelas IV SDN Ajung 01 Jember. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang terdiri dari perencanaan tindakan observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini dilakukan dengan berkolaborasi dengan guru kelas IV SDN Ajung 01 Jember. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini berupa lembar observasi wawancara dan tes. Observasi yang dilakukan dengan mengamati aktivitias guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran kemampuan membaca pemahaman dan menulis menggunakan model CIRC dipadu talkingstick dan mengamati sikap siswa selama proses kegiatan pembelajaran. Tes hasil belajar yang dilakukan dengan memberikan soal objektif atau pilihan ganda untuk kemampuan membaca pemahaman sedangan untuk kemampuan menulis dengan memberikan soal subjetktif atau isian berdasarkan rubric yang telah dibuat oleh peneliti. Wawancara dilakukan dengan bertanya jawab kepada siswa dan guru terhadap keterlakasanaan pembelajaran model CIRC dipadu talkingstick. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) proses pembelajaran membaca pemahaman dan menulis menggunakan model CIRC dipadu talkingstickberjalan dengan baik terlihat peningkatan persentase sikap siswameningkat keterlaksanaan seluruh aktivitas guru selama pembelajaran (2) terdapat peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa menggunakan model CIRC dipadu talkingstick siswa kelas IV SDN Ajung 01 Jember hal tersebut terlihat dari sebanyak 42 terdapat 30 siswa yang tuntas atau sebesar 71 42% dan sebanyak 12 siswa yang tidak tuntas atau sebesar 28 57% pada siklus II hasil yang diperoleh meningkat terdapat 35 siswa yang tuntas atau sebesar 83 33% dan sebanyak 7 siswa yang tidak tuntas atau sebesar 16 66% (3) terdapat peningkatan kemampuan menulis siswa menggunakan model CIRC dipadu talkingstick siswa kelas IV SDN Ajung 01 Jember hal tersebut terlihat dari sebanyak 42 siswa terdapat 28 siswa yang tuntas atau sebesar 66 66% dan sebanyak 14 siswa yang tidak tuntas atau sebesar 33 33% siklus II hasil yang diperoleh meningkat kembali terdapat 37 siswa yang tuntas atau sebsar 88% dan sebanyak 5 siswa yang tidak tuntas atau sebesar 11 90%. Hasil ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan penerapan model CIRC dipadu talkingstick dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman dan menulis. Saran1yang diberikan yakni bagibagi siswa hendaknya lebih banyak memperhatikan ketika guru menjelaskan (2) bagi guru hendaknya memberikan teks sesuai usia dan tingkat pemahaman siswa dan hendaknya lebih sering menunjuk siswa untuk menjawab pertanyaan (3) bagi kepala sekolah hendaknya mengikut sertakan guru-guru dalam sebuah pelatihan dan (4) bagi peneliti lain dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan pertimbangan dan dapat dikembangkan untuk penelitian selanjutnya. The objectives of this study were (1) to find out the learning process of reading comprehension and writing using the CIRC model combined with the talkingstick of Class IV students of SDN Ajung 01 Jember (2) to improve reading comprehension skills using the CIRC model combined with talkingstick fourth grade students at SDN Ajung 01 Jember and (3) to improve the ability to write using the CIRC model monitored stickstick for fourth grade students at SDN Ajung 01 Jember. The design of this study uses Classroom Action Research which consists of planning action observation and reflection. This Classroom Action Research was conducted in collaboration with a fourth grade teacher at SDN Ajung 01 Jember. Data collection conducted in this study in the form of observation sheets interviews and tests. Observations are made by observing the teacher s activities in carrying out the learning ability to read comprehension and writing using the CIRC model combined with the talkingstick and observing the attitudes of students during the process of learning activities. Tests of learning outcomes are carried out by providing objective or multiple choice questions for comprehension reading skills while for the ability to write by giving subjective questions or rubric-based entries that have been made by the researcher. Interviews were conducted by asking questions to students and teachers about the disadvantages of learning the CIRC model combined with the talkingstick. The results showed that (1) the learning process of reading comprehension and writing using the CIRC model combined with the talkingstick went well. It was seen that there was an increase in the percentage of students attitudes to all teacher activities during learning. Ajung 01 Jember it can be seen from as many as 42 there were 30 students who completed or as much as 71.42% and as many as 12 students who did not complete or by 28.57% in the second cycle the results obtained increased there were 35 students who completed or 83 33% and as many as 7 students who did not complete or at 16.66% (3) there was an increase in students writing skills using the CIRC model combined with talkingstick class IV SDN Ajung 01 Jember as seen from 42 students there were 28 students who completed or equal to 66.66% and as many as 14 students who did not complete or amounted to 33.33% cycle II the results obtained increased again there were 37 students who completed or 88% and as many as 5 students who did not complete or amounted to 11.90%. These results can be concluded that by applying the CIRC model combined with talkingstick can improve reading comprehension and writing skills. The advice given is for students to pay more attention when the teacher explains (2) for the teacher should give the text according to the age and level of understanding of students and should more often appoint students to answer questions (3) for the principal should include teachers in a training and (4) for other researchers can be used as consideration and can be developed for further research.
