Abstract

The resultss how that the majority of the texts a pproximately5 8.3% arevery difficult to be understoodc. onsequentlyi t could resulti n misunderstandinbgy the listeners From the averagep ercentageo fthe ReadingE aseS core t he researcher concludesth at the MES newst ext is very difficult to be understooda ndo nly college graduatesc anu nderstandth e news.N one usesb oth 100%p resentte nsea nda ctive sentenceo. nly 1 text uses1 00%p resentt ense.F or actives tructurew e cans ee a lmost 25Yo from the whole texts use active voice. From the whole texts only six texts have pivot words. It means that only half of those texts have pivot words. From the data only one text has more than one pivot words. lf we examine one by one six texts do not usea nyp lvot vvord.F or averagen umberso f wordsp ert ext n oneh asl esso r equal to ninety words. For averagen umberso f words per sentencen oneh asl esso r equal to twenty words.
