This study investigated code switching used by celebrities in television infotainment. The study is focused on the grammatical errors on code switching used by celebrities in television infotainment and the topics of conversations in which celebrities use code switching in their language in television infotainment. The results show that there are so many grammatical errors on celebrities utterances in television infotainment. Most of ungrammatical code switching applied by celebrities in television infotainment is when they use the verb (V) in explaining noun (N) such as the word entertainment and performance. The second grammatical error found by the writer on celebrities utterances is the translation process on certain code. The third grammatical error done by celebrities are code switching consisting relative clause adjective noun passive sentences and also singular and pluralThe application of inappropriate noun conjunction past perfect tense adjective ending in ing simple past tense possessive form choosing suitable word verb into adjective were the fourth grammatical error done by celebrities in switching code.
