Abstract

Key word Media school environment the ability to write simple sentences Indonesian study aimed to enhance students ability to communicate in the Indonesian language properly and correctly both orally and in writing as well as creativity and reasoning power train children through writing. Based on the pre-action on SDN Bumiayu 3 Malang about learning Indonesian in mind some of the problems faced in the classroom including (1) teachers use of individual learning strategies and competitive (2) learning to write a simple sentence begins with having students make a simple sentence with a word that is determined by the teacher (3) student learning outcomes in pratindakan still low the average value of 67 classes and studying classical completeness only 55% whereas the standard set is 75%. This study aims to (1) describe the application of media use in the school environment increases the ability to write simple sentences in grade II SDN Bumiayu 3 Malang (2) describe the use of school media can improve the ability to write simple sentences in the second grade students in SDN Bumiayu 3 the city of Malang. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) collaborative participatory working procedures implemented by two cycles of four phases namely planning implementation of the action observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were 40 students in grade II SDN Bumiayu 3 Malang. In this study researchers assisted by colleague who is a guardian class III. Data collection techniques used were observation interviews documentation and testing. Analysis of data on student activity during the process of learning gained through observation of the student activity sheet and analysis of student learning outcomes obtained through the scoring of test results. The results with the use of media to improve their school environment to write a simple sentence suggests that student learning outcomes in the classical average increase of 67 on pratindakan to 69 in cycle I and increased to 85 in the second cycle. Student activity has increased in each cycle both individual and classical and students appear more enthusiastic for learning. The conclusion that can be taken is to use the school media in learning to write simple sentences to enhance the ability to write simple sentences. From the results of this study suggested to the teacher in learning Indonesian language should use the media the school environment to improve learning outcomes and activities of students in learning activities.
